- The Swan School and Meadowbrook College in Oxford, currently under development, will be Oxford’s first newly-built school for over 50 years
- With the project being for both secondary education and higher education, Heckmondwike’s expertise was a key reason why the company was selected to provide the carpet tiles throughout the site
- A selection of Heckmondwike Array (Marble, Copper, Peacock, Lime) and Broadrib (Graphite, Orange, Willow) carpet tiles, perfect for the education sector, were specified for installation on the site
- Array and Broadrib complement each other perfectly, and when installed together can add a creative touch to classrooms and learning spaces – allowing for the creation of breakout spaces and borders
- Both products also have the advantage of being UK manufactured, extremely hard wearing and providing class-leading noise reduction qualities
- Throughout the development, Heckmondwike has worked closely with a number of stakeholders in the project to ensure the correct specification and the desired effect is achieved
- This includes Oxford County Council, ADP Architects, main contractor Galliford Try and flooring contractor Flortec Ltd
