Compass Point (Grow on Space) is a new flexible office development in the Harborough district of Leicestershire.
The £6.6million Compass Point development, designed by Maber Architects and completed by Willmott Dixon for Harborough District Council, has created a space that supports local businesses. In total the site can host 10-15 companies at full capacity, allowing 230 staff to retain business within the district.
Due to Heckmondwike’s close supplier relationship with Willmott Dixon, almost 2,500 square metres of the company’s market-leading Supacord carpet tiles were specified throughout the building. The Supacord carpet tiles were a selection of colours, including; Seal, Steel Grey, Graphite, Gunmetal and Onyx.
Supacord has been manufactured by Heckmondwike at the company’s site in Liversedge, West Yorkshire, since 1973. Available in both sheet and tile form, the carpet has a well-established reputation in the commercial flooring market.
The product is manufactured to stand the test of time, making it perfect for any commercial setting from office developments through to schools and apartment complexes. With 42 colours to choose from, Supacord offers fantastic variety and flexibility for all, allowing for the creation of truly unique spaces.
The carpet tiles were installed by local flooring contractor, Diamond Flooring
