Cobham Free School in Weybridge, Surrey is a redeveloped state-of-the-art education facility.
The site was formally the Willmott Dixon ‘Munro House’ office, however, £20.4m has been invested to transform the site into a high specification educational centre for 920 pupils, aged 7 to 18.
The school, which was completed in March 2021, includes new sports facilities, including a sports hall and activity studio alongside a 520 seater auditorium for use by both the school and the local community.
The site was redeveloped by main contractor, Willmott Dixon with designs completed by architects, Stride Treglown.
As part of its framework agreement, Heckmondwike worked closely with Willmott Dixon to supply its carpet across the project. Overall, Heckmondwike provided over 2,000 square metres of its Supacord carpet tiles, alongside over 600 square metres of its specialist entrance carpet, Battleship.
Supacord is widely recognised as being the leading carpet product for the education sector. There are currently millions of square metres of Supacord installed in thousands of education sites across the country.
