- Chestnut Park is a new primary school being built in Yatton, North Somerset.
- Clevedon Learning Trust (CLT) will run the school once it opens, currently scheduled for September 2021. Initially, the school will educate up to 210 pupils, with scope to increase its capacity to meet future demand from local housing developments.
- The £4.8million project is being constructed and developed by Willmott Dixon, in partnership with North Somerset Council supporting the design and build.
- Due to Heckmondwike’s close relationship with Willmott Dixon, the company specified Heckmondwike’s products for various areas of the site.
- Heckmondwike supplied just under 700 square metres of carpet for the project. This included 613 square metres of the company’s leading Supacord carpet tiles in Pacific Blue, alongside 65 square metres of Battleship specialist entrance matting in Ash Grey.
- Manufactured in the UK since 1973, Supacord is widely recognised as the market-leading carpet for the education sector. Its hard-wearing properties make it ideal for the sector, provided the strength required to last the test of time in the most challenging environments.
- Supplied and installed by local flooring contractor and long-standing Heckmondwike customer, Craftsman Flooring.
